Covering approximately 1,800 acres / 730 hectares with four separate contract farming clients, the business plants a mixture of Winter Wheat (feed), Winter Oilseed Rape and Spring Beans (also feed).

With precision agriculture being the backbone of the combinable crop system, we take heavy advantage of variable rate nutrition (P, K, pH), variable rate seed at drilling and variable rate nitrogen during the spring.

The New Holland CR 9.90 combine (35ft table) is supported with yield monitoring software which helps us to fine-tune our precision inputs which also guide us as to which parts of the farm should be placed into Countryside Stewardship and, more lately the Sustainable Farming Incentive.
