JOB DESCRIPTION

Placement students will be involved in all aspects of our diverse agricultural business and be given a strong insight into combinable crop agriculture, processing potato production, cider fruit production, precision farming, broiler chicken production and renewable energy (ground source heat pump & solar PV). Specific insight will also be provided into the structure and implementation of Contract Farming Agreements and general business management & future development, with a particular focus on business growth post-Brexit. It is our aim for Placement Students to leave with a broader knowledge of agricultural business, both practically and from a business management point of view.

ACCOMMODATION

Free-of-charge, on-site accommodation with fibre WIFI is available. Evening meals provided at harvest.

PAY

£10.75+ per hour flat rate, depending on previous experience.
